The recent deadly floods that took place earlier in July in Kerr County, Texas, affected all of these brave families. sadly, 27 youngsters died as a result of severe flash floods brought on by heavy rainfall. The protesters think that the deaths may have been avoided.
Why Are They Protesting?
According to the group, not enough has been taken by the government to protect citizens against climate-related disasters like floods. They take particular offense at budget cuts to significant groups like:
